Important Information about Contacting the Police

Several phone numbers are available to citizens requesting assistance from the Grove City Division of Police. 

9-1-1 is an emergency-only number. Use this number in life-threatening situations only. Examples include a crime in progress, an injury accident, a store/bank robbery, a person threatening you or others with a weapon or when a child is missing. 

The non-emergency number is 614-277-1710. This number can be used for general police purposes such as non-injury accidents, traffic light malfunction, damage/theft to your vehicle or home (not in progress), keys locked in your car, suspicious person/vehicle, any other non-life threatening situation or general information.

The Anonymous Tip Line is 614-277-1818. This is for persons who want to provide information about crimes to the police department and don’t want to be identified. Information is left in a voice mailbox and caller ID is not used on this line. For these reasons, do not use this line for crimes in progress.
